Gospel legend Helena Rhabbles gets plot of land as gift from Rev. Danso Abbeam


Chairman and CEO of Abbeam Group of Companies, Rev. Abbeam Ampomah Danso has shown love to renowned gospel artist, Helena Rhabbles by gifting her a plot of land at Abbeam City.

The gift came after madam Rhabbles revealed that all plots of land she procured in Ghana before leaving for the USA years ago had been taken away from her.

Making the surprise announcement on Atinka Drive Time hosted by Roman Fada, Rev. Abbeam indicated that, Madam Helena Rhabbles was one of the gospel artists he followed when growing up and loved her songs.

He said even though he hadn’t planned for the gift , he was touched by her words and felt so bad.

Describing the “So so Wonders” hit maker as a mother, Rev. Abbeam assured madam Helena Rhabbles that documents covering the land were available ” so come for them whenever you ready”.


Following their short introduction and conversation on air, Pastor Abbeam Ampomah Danso promised to assist madam Helena Rhabbles to enjoy her stay in Ghana after being away for so many years .


Madam Helena Rhabbles was overjoyed by the love shown her by the man of God and took the opportunity to pray for Rev. Abbeam for his kind gesture and asked for God’s favor on his life.

About Helena Rhabbles:
Helena Esi Mends, is a popular gospel musician from the Twin City of Sekondi, Takoradi, in the Western Region of Ghana where she was bred. She started performing at an early age coming from a predominantly Christian background.

She trained as a teacher and after teaching for nine years, she felt the call of God to pursue her music career fully.

She finally came out in 1994 with her maiden album titled Helena Rhabbles Volume 1 and became an instant hit with the public. Her songs became the toast of praise and worship singers in churches across the country.

She followed in 1995 with Volume. 2 featuring powerful tracks like So So Wonders and Kokromotsi. She has not released another album since. She sang in English and Ghanaian local dialects.
