The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has appointed Charles Kwablan Akunor as the new coach for the senior National team.

This comes after Former Coach, Kwesi Appiah’s contract ended in December and was not renewed.

C.K. Akunor is a former Ghanaian international footballer. He has played as a versatile midfielder, mostly in Germany.

He was the head coach of Asante Kotoko for nine months from 2018 to 2019.

He was also an Assistant Coach for the Black Stars and now has become the substantive coach for the team.
