GES to build ultramodern "high density" accommodation for staff

Ghana Education Service (GES) is set to develop its land at Roman Ridge into a high density residential facility for its staff.

The project, when completed, will provide 40 flats and other ancillary facilities.

A statement signed by the Head of Public Relations Unit of the GES, Cassandra Twum Ampofo, explained that the GES under the auspices of the Ministry of Education is working with the Ministry of lands and natural resources and the land commission.

According to the statement, a private developer has been identified to develop the land which is currently occupied by 15 officers of GES and staff of Accra Technical Training Centre (ATTC).

“Management takes this opportunity to assure all staff affected that they will be given first priority on completion of the project. It is the expectation of the management of GES that all stakeholders will cooperate and collaborate to ensure smooth and successful completion of the project, ” Cassandra Twum Ampofo said in the statement.
