Entrance University College organizes free health screening at Spintex

 

The Entrance University College of Health Sciences has organised a free health screening exercise for more than 300 residents at Spintex and surrounding areas .

The exercise, which  was organised  on Wednesday, April 10, 2019,  was aimed at  contributing positively to the health of the people in the community .

The seven-hour exercise saw people being screened for various ailments including malaria, body mass index, and blood pressure.

The SRC president of Entrance University College of Health Sciences, Samuel Atuilik, in an interview with Atinka News, revealed that  most of the participants had high blood pressure.

According to him, the early detection of health conditions entailed a better outcome, underscoring the need for more of such exercises to be organised.

Atuilik also added that their (SRC) core goal was  to promote and improve the health of the people in the community.
