EC gives Ghanaians grace period to register for new voters' ID

The Electoral Commission (EC) of Ghana has given Ghanaians who could not participate in the ongoing new voters’ registration exercise another opportunity to do so.
Although the exercise comes to an end today, those who could not register can go and register on Saturday, the 8th of August, 2020 and Sunday, the 9th of August, 2020 at the District Offices of the Electoral Commission across the Country.
The EC has therefore urged eligible applicants who wish to register to visit the District Offices within their Districts to be registered.

EC ORGANISES MOP-UP EXERCISE FOR
ELIGIBLE APPLICANTS
The Voters Registration Exercise comes to an end on Thursday, the 6th of August 2020.
The Commission is giving another opportunity to those who in one way or the other could not avail themselves to register during the
Exercise.
A mop-up of the Registration Exercise will be held on Saturday, the 8th of August, 2020 and Sunday, the 9th of August, 2020 at the District Offices of the Electoral Commission across the Country.
Eligible applicants who wish to register should visit the District Offices within their Districts to be registered.
