Double tracking system: Mahama calls for comprehensive national consultation

 

Former President of the Republic of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, has asked the New Patriotic Party(NPP) administration to hold a comprehensive national consultation to forge a consensus on a sustainable framework for its implementation.

The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo announced that from September 2018, Government will implement the double intake system for new entrants into the country’s public Senior High Schools, which will address the growing numbers of students benefitting from the Free SHS policy.

The former President in a tweet Wednesday morning admonished the current NPP administration to consult the relevant stakeholders in order to find a sustainable framework for the implementation the Double tracking educational system.
