Desist from political violence during elections-Muslim youth advised

The National Chief Imam of the Songhai Community in Ghana, Sheik Abdul Malik Abdul has admonished muslim youth to desist from engaging in political violence ahead of the 2020 General Elections.
According to him, some muslim youth over the years have been criticized for allowing themselves to be used by politicians to perpetuate political violence, advising them to desist from such acts this time.
Speaking to Atinka News, the Chief Imam indicated that although COVID 19 has negatively impacted the economy, Muslims in Ghana and around the world have been able to celebrate this year’s EID celebration.
On the celebration of Eid, he prayed for healing of our land against the spread of coronavirus.
