CPP pegs filing fee at 200k

The Convention People’s Party (CPP) has announced ¢200,000 as filling fee for candidates who wish to contest on the party’s ticket as Presidential Candidates.
Persons vying for the National Chairmanship position of the party will pick the form at the cost of ¢100,000.
A statement signed by the Deputy Communication Director for CPP, Benjamin Nsiah, noted that the party seeks to encourage more women and the youth to contest the vacant positions of the party and so aspirants for the position of National Women Organizer and National Youth Organizer will file their form at a reduced cost of ¢20,000.
Candidates vying for the National Organizer and Vice Chairmen positions will file nominations at the cost of at GHS70,000.
Candidates will however pick nomination forms at a cost of GHS2000.
CPP has also approved March 8 as date for the party’s Congress and it will be held in Kumasi.
Interested persons have been advised to pick up a form early so there can be adequate time to fill and file it.
