Covid-19: Gov’t to track, test persons who landed in Ghana from March 3

 
The President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Akufo-Addo has directed that all persons who arrived in the country from 3rd March 2020  be traced and tested for coronavirus.
This directive comes after 78 persons who came into the country after the President closed all borders of the country tested positive for the coronavirus pandemic.
1,030 persons who flew into the country after the directive of the President are currently under mandatory quarantine.
Per the directive, persons who flew into in Ghana from March 3rd will be traced, tested and quarantined when sample confirms positive.
The President of the Republic of Ghana has also suspended public gatherings, including conferences, workshops, funerals, festivals, political rallies, sporting events and religious activities, such as services in churches and mosques for the next four (4) weeks as part of measures to stop the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.
