COVID-19: Four students of Odorgonno SHS isolated over high temperatures

Four students at the Odorgonno Senior High School have been isolated due to the high number of their temperatures.
This was noticed when the Atinka News Team visited schools in Accra upon its re-opening.

Confirming the news to Atinka News Reporter, Owoahene Acheampong, the Headmaster of the school Mr. Patrick Mensah indicated that, the four students were taken through the outlined protocols in the school through which they found out that their temperatures were far above all the other students.
He said, the students were later handed over to health professionals designated to the school.
“We did everything humanly possible to make sure all the students are protected from the virus as far as they are in the school,” he said.
Answering questions on the distribution of government PPE’s, Mr. Mensah mentioned that, all their needs have been supplied by the government including Veronica buckets, face masks and other PPE’s.
Freda Araba Halm, one of the health professionals at the Odorgonno SHS confirmed that, the samples of the students have been taken to the nearest health center for a proper identification of the virus at the GA Central municipal hospital.
A Senior House Master of the school, Mr. Daniel Dalyn Tetteh, noted the school’s readiness to welcoming the students to a new academic calendar.
