Coronavirus: Ghana records first death

A Deputy Health Minister, Alex Abban, confirmed  that Ghana has recorded its first death from the ravaging  coronavirus pandemic.
The victim is  the 61-year old  Lebanese trader who  was diagnosed of the disease  in Kumasi within the week.
“The information I got from the Director-General of the Ghana Health Service is that that person [the Lebanese man] has died. He died today,”  the Minister told Accra based Citi FM on Saturday.
The country has recorded 19 cases so far and the President will address the nation tonight on new measures to fight the pandemic.
