Commercial sex workers have expressed disappointment in the Local Organising Committee for neglecting them as the 11th Edition of the Africa Women's championship (AWCON) approaches.
President of the Ghana prostitutes Association,(GPA) Patience Akosua Adomah, speaking to Atinkaonline, said all effort to reach organizers of the competition to inform them of their availability to spice up the competition has proved futile.
According to Ms. Adomah, they (sex workers) were expecting the organizers to call on them to make visitors and football loving fans sexually satisfied as they enjoy the games.
"I wanted to meet Hon. Freda Prempeh and give her affordable prices and also present the best of my girls in order for them get accreditation so they can gain access to the hotels of the officials, guests and fans to entertain them," she said.
Patience Akosua Adomah continued that she had been informed by a reliable source that accreditations have rather been given to prostitutes from Nigeria.
" The contract has been given to the Nigerians to entertain the officials," she said adding," That is not my worry since we have decided not to reduce our charges but to take the normal charge of GHC 200 for a full night and GHC 150 for a half night ", she added.
The motto for the group is: "We are ready to serve our customers without any difficulty"
According to Patience Akosua Adomah, the group's hit and run charges will go for GHC 60 from 7:00 pm to 10 pm, 10 pm to midnight is pegged at GHC30 while midnight to 5:00 am will go for GHC150.
