Budget Review: Government pays 64 billion to road contractors-Finance Minister

Despite the outbreak of covid-19, the Minister of Finance, Ken Ofori Attah has said that government continues to construct roads as 2020 was declared the year of roads.
The major roads which have been constructed include that of the Tema highway, Accra Kumasi road, specifically Pokuase, some parts of Kumasi amongst others.
According to the Finance Minister, residents of all urban centres can attest to the fact that they are seeing continuous projects in their inner roads.
He noted that Government has Paid 64 billion to road contractors to construct major and minor roads across the country.
