Ghanaian internationally recognized gospel musician and minister, Sonnie Badu says Ghanaians should rather blame their leaders not the United Kingdom media giant, Sky News, for describing them as one of the poorest countries in the world .

On Tuesday, Sky News published the arrival of Covid-19 vaccines in Accra, the capital city of the Republic of Ghana and described the whole country as the “world’s poorest people” .

Majority of Ghanaians after seeing the reportage lambasted the media entity for such description but the gospel musician sees nothing wrong with how the media giant’s described the 64 year old country.

“Maybe that is how leaders from Ghana presented the situation to the international donors to enable them get the corona vaccine free,” he said.
