Berekuso to get ultra-modern science school

A sod-cutting ceremony has been held to commence the construction of an ultra-modern science school at Berekusu in the Eastern Region of Ghana.

Speaking at the sod-cutting ceremony, the President of Academic City University, Prof. Fred McBagonluri was of the belief that the establishment of the Science School will educate future leaders who can innovatively solve complex problems within an ethical, entrepreneurial and collaborative environment.

According to Mr. Fred McBagonluri, who is the owner of the Science School which will be completed by the end of 2021, majority of the students find it difficult at university level when they studying science.

He was hopeful that the School which will start from KG to SHS will assist the children get early foundation in Science to make studies at the tertiary level easier.

He told the media that this initiative will be a game changer.

Meanwhile, the Chief of Berekuso, Odeefo Oteng Korankye II expressed his excitement and thanked Prof. McBagonluri for the initiative.

He also revealed parents and student’s readiness for the school.
