Former Information Minister in the Mills Administration, Fritz Baffour, has been appointed by National Democratic Congress (NDC), presidential hopeful, Alban Bagbin, as Director of Campaign and Communication for his campaign.
In a brief remark, the veteran stand-up comedian disclosed that he decided to join the Bagbin campaign team because he (Bagbin) believes in the values of the NDC.
He said he knew the NDC presidential hopeful before he went into politics (over 30 years) and that he could vouch for his integrity and commitment towards the ideals and values of the party.
According to the renowned actor, the NDC is a party for the vulnerable since it focuses on policies that help tackle inequalities in society, adding that Mr. Bagbin is the right person to lead the party since he believes in these policies.
“I also joined the team because he [Bagbin] is open to suggestions,” Mr. Baffour added.
