Ayawaso West Wuogon by-election underway
The by- elections at the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency is underway.
This exercise is to elect a new Member of Parliament to replace the late NPP’s Emmanuel Kyeremanteng Agyarko who passed on in November.
88,000 voters are expected to cast their ballots the by-election.
New Patriotic Party (NPP), National Democratic Congress (NDC), Progressive People’s Party (PPP) and the Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG) have presented candidates to contest the seat.
The candidates are Ms Lydia Seyram Alhassan, NPP; Kwasi Delali Brempong, NDC; William Dowokpor, PPP, and Clement Boadi for the LPG.
