Atinka TV’s Visual Editor, Mr Robbert Tettey received a recognition at the 25th Ghana Journalist Association (GJA) Awards held on Saturday, October 24, 2020.
He was awarded for his excellent and hardwork as a dynamic visual editor.
His award falls under the Special Awards for visual editors and Cameramen.
His award is one of five awards bagged by the Atinka Media Village on the night.
After receiving the award, Mr Tettey expressed gratitude to the organisers of the show for recognizing his work.
Although he least expected it, he expressed excitement about the recognition, saying that it will encourage him to do more moving forward.
“This is my first time of winning an award and I am very happy. I was not expecting this because I was doing my job without knowing someone was watching. I will continue to do what I love to do most to keep soaring,” he said.
Mr Robert Tettey, who is the editor behind most of Atinka TV’s award winning shows started his editing career at studio one in 2008 as a visual editor.
Due to his commitment to the work, he was later promoted to the position of production assistant.
Robert Tettey later joined Modern Fotos and worked there for a short period before joining Global Media Alliance’s E.tv Ghana as a visual editor where he was promoted to the position of Head of Visual Editing department.
Robert Tettey joined Atinka TV few months after its establishment where he is currently the Head of the Visual Editing Department.
