Atinka TV's 'Di Asa' grabs another one at 25th GJA Awards

Atinka TV’s Flagship reality show, Di Asa has once again won an award at the 25th Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) Awards, which was held on Saturday, October 24th 2020.

The the multiple award winning show since its inception has been the most watched TV reality show in Ghana and beyond.

Since its introduction, Di Asa has also won the TV programme of the year (Akan) for three consecutive times at the GJA Awards. It has also been recognised by other prominent award schemes in the country on several occasions.

Di Asa is a reality show that engages plus-sized market women across the country who have passion for dancing to exhibit their dancing moves which enable them to stay healthy.

The show, which has received massive support and embraced by all Ghanaians including the elite, the educated, the ordinary Ghanaian, has given confidence to plus size women and as well shaped and transformed their lives after participating.

The likes of the winner of season one, Love, that of season two, Abi and season three, PM indicates how transformative and impactful the reality TV show has been.

The attractiveness of the show and the amazing prize packages for winners which include cars, tricycles, mini trucks, Dubai Trips, have encouraged plus size women to always rush to be part of the show.

Surprisingly, amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, which delayed the start of season four, the public began to mount pressure on the organisers of the show, demanding its commencement right after the lockdown.

For the contestants of Savana Paint Di Asa season Four, they could not wait to be part of the most watched reality TV show.

This year, 48 contestants qualified to be part of the show after auditions in all 16 regions of the country.

They were all welcomed to the Di Asa House last week Friday with an arrival party.

On every Wednesday, there will be freestyle edition whiles eviction shows will be held on Saturdays.

Meanwhile, the shortcode for voting this year is *714*4# and the public is encouraged to vote to keep their favourite contestants in the competition.
