Prophet Dr. Martin Kofi Danso of Miracle Arena for all Nations rescues three families from poverty trap. The benevolence of the prophet which reached the family just at the right time saved four children from wallowing in an endless poverty.

The family of Mercy Aboagye benefited from an amount of GHS20,000 donated by the prophet to pay for her son surgery at the Reconstructive Plastic Surgery and Burns Centre of the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital.

The first born of Mercy Aboagye suffered severe wounds after he fell into hot oil when he had visited a porridge joint to buy some for breakfast.

The nine-year-old boy since May 2019 had to bear excruciating pain of the burns without regular dressing of the wounds as his mother could not afford to pay for even a day’s dressing.

After Atinka News reportage in June 2019, on the condition of the boy and his mother, the Canada based Ghanaian pastor, Prophet Dr. Kofi Danso of Miracle Arena for all Nations headquartered in Toronto, Canada extended a hand of support to the family.

Through his publicist, Miss Eyra Doe assisted by Atinka News’ Regina Asamoah visited the Reconstructive Plastic Surgery and Burns Centre on 8th November, 2019 to effect payment.

After interactions with the Resident Doctor, Dr. Nathaniel Tetteh and mother of the nine-year-old, the team made payment for an immediate dressing of the wounds, paid all outstanding bills and paid for the surgery cost.

The mother, a pure water seller, could not hide her joy as she blessed the team for their timely intervention in saving his son.

The second family to benefit from the Pastor’s generosity was the Sowah family who lives at Aplaku, a suburb of Accra in the Greater Accra Region. A daughter of the family is currently seeking justice at the Gender Court 5 in the Greater Accra region after been defiled by her school mate’s father. The fourteen year-old was defiled in July, 2015 on her way to school and got partially paralyzed. Although the family has now enrolled her into school, the family finds it difficult to purchase her educational items to complement her schooling.

Miss Eyra Doe and Regina Asamoah visited the family on the 12th November, 2019 to extend a hand of support to the family. A cash amount of GHC400 was presented to the family to purchase the books for the girl and GHC200 presented to her mother to purchase medicine as the team met her sick.

The third family is the Benyin Family who lives at Odorkor, a suburb of Accra in the Greater Accra Region. The first daughter of the family of five was defiled by her blind father’s senior brother in 2015. The girl then eight-year-old had to undergo vagina surgery at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital. The perpetrator was sentenced into 20 years imprisonment. The family had to suffer the stigma from the extended family as they failed to support in getting justice for their daughter.

Miss Eyra Doe and Regina Asamoah went to the family house to interact with the family on the condition of the girl and her siblings. After a discussion with the father, the team visited a bookshop and purchased a list of books prescribed for her daughter.

The team then visited the school of the last born of the family. After a brief meeting with the headmistress of the school, the team paid her schools fees for the academic year, examination fees and purchased all the prescribed text books.

Speaking in an interview with Atinka News after the presentations to the above families,  Miss Eyra Doe explained that Prophet Dr. Martin Dr. Kofi Danso embarks on several philanthropic work usually channeled through orphanages. However, he was touched by the stories of these families hence the decision to support them.
