Black Stars captain, Asamoah Gyan has retired from the national team.
The player announced his retirement ahead of the 2019 edition of the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) to be staged in Egypt.
Gyan has been a leading striker for the senior national team for some years now.
He has also captained the team.
