Appietus drops out of MUSIGA Presidential race

News reaching Atinkaonline.com is that, Appiah Dankwah, popularly known as Appietus, has dropped his hopes of becoming the next president of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA)

Speaking to Zylofon fm on the Showbiz Agenda, his Public Relations Officer, Steven Crepy confirmed the sound engineer is no longer running for the seat in order to concentrate more on the youth and his project for the youth.

“MUSIGA is seen as union for old people, so Appietus thought why concentrate on the old people who will not support your ideas for the youth, so he has decided to step down and work hand in hand with the youth and later take the seat when the youth is satisfied with his contribution” he explained

He added that, Appietus wanted to also concentrate on his National Music Production Project, a charitable music production project across all regions in Ghana to record ten songs for upcoming 100 artistes for free.

A project he believes will help the youth than just being a MUSIGA president who hardly pays attention to the youth.
