Akufo-Addo directs Auditor General to take accumulated leave

The President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has asked the Auditor General, Daniel Domelevo, to take his accumulated leave of 132 days.
A statement signed by the Director of Communications at the Presidency, Eugene Arhin, mentioned that the leave is effective 1st July 2020.
According to the statement, the decision by the President is in line with sections 20 (1) and 31 of labour act 2003 (Act 651), which apply to all workers including public office holders such as the Auditor general.
