Leader of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), Madam Akua Donkor, has threatend to seek redress at the International Court of Justice.

The Supreme Court dismissed a suit filed by Leader of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), Madam Akua Donkor which sought the removal of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia from office.

The Politician filed the suit for the removal of the two on the basis that the two had played a role in the expose on football corruption by Ace investigative Journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas.

Madam Donkor was also slapped with a GHc10, 000 court fine.

Reacting to the ruling on Atinka FM’s AM Drive with host Ekourba Gyasi Thursday Morning, Leader of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), Madam Akua Donkor, explained that she is not satisfied with the ruling and will seek redress at the International Court of Justice.

Asked if she will pay the fine, Akua Donkor maintained that paying the fine meant she is content with the ruling and hence has no intention of paying the said fine.

She expressed displeasure in the court for ruling a case in the absence of the person who filed the case.

“I knew this case would not go anywhere that is why they gave the judgment when I was not in court,” she reiterated.

Madam Akua Donkor noted that she will not relent until justice is served since she firmly believes that she has not been treated fairly.

She maintained that her case was very valid but Nana Akufo-Addo used his people in the court to rule against her.
