Ajumako: NPP parliamentary candidate donates to Muslims

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate for Ajumako Enyan Essiam constituency in the Central Region, Dr Rashid Kwesi Etuaful has donated food items to Muslims in  Ajumako Enyan Essiam district.

The food items include  790 bags of rice, 40 bags of sugar, oil, sardine,  packs of milk and boxes of drinks.

Speaking to media after the donation, the  Nasara Coordinator for the NPP in Ajumako Enyan Essiam constituency, Alhaji Kaleem Abdul, who presented the items to the Muslims on behalf of Dr Rashid Kwesi Etuaful, said for the second time in a week, Muslims in the Ajumako Enyan Essiam district have received food items for the celebration of this year’s Eid ul fitr.

Alhaji Kaleem Abdul also said, the Ramadan fest is a period they ask Allah for forgiveness of sins adding that they also use the period to help the needy.

The NPP Nasara coordinator  showed  appreciation to Dr Rashid Kwesi Etuaful as they have never received such donations before.

The Communication Director for NPP in the constituency, Mr Abraham Papa Ayensu also said, Dr Rashid Kwesi Etuaful has changed the dynamics of politics in the Ajumako Enyan Essiam constituency.

He also said all Muslims in the 198 communities in the district will all have their share of the donations.

He  was optimistic that God will heed to the prayers  of  Dr Rashid Kwesi Etuaful to be successful in the upcoming elections.

The Deputy Nasara coordinator for NPP in Ajumako Enyan Essiam constituency, Alhaji Kofi Hameed Mensah on his part said, they will make sure every Muslim in the constituency benefit from the donation.

Murabbi Alhassan Arthur who received the items on behalf of the Muslims in the Ajumako Enyan Essiam district also thanked them for their kind gesture .
