Ahanta West: MP inspects ongoing market project at Apowa

The Member of Parliament for the Ahanta West Constituency of the Western Region, Hon Ebenezer Kojo-Kum has assured his constituents of his commitment to complete every ongoing project.

According to him, when all these projects are completed and handed over to the various communities, it will confirm his agenda of developing Ahanta West.

Mr. Kum gave this words of honor when he toured and inspected some ongoing projects in his constituency.

He was accompanied by this Public Relations Officer, Hon. Bananas Annan, Press Secretary, Mr. Rudolph Cobbinah among others.

Some of the ongoing projects the MP and his team visited includes, the ultramodern market which is about 60% complete for the residents of Apowa.

Speaking to the press after the inspection, Lawyer Ebenezer Kojo Kum said, expressed gratitude to the contractors and pleaded to them to speed up the work to provide a better place for the market women.

He explained that it was not right for parliamentarians to wait until the election period before visiting their constituencies to interact with the electorates and finding solutions to their developmental problems.

Mr. Kojo Kum called for the needed support and co-operation to execute the better Ghana agenda in the constituency.

He charged his constituents to support President Akufo-Addo and the NPP government with prayers and hard work to drive home his vision for the country and Ahanta West.

Some market women expressed gratitude for the project adding that it would not only improve trading in the area but also end the perennial problems associated with space allocations at the market.

They also thanked the MP for the continuation of the projects after the general elections.
