"3 years feels just like 3 days" – Babara Mahama eulogises husband

Widow of the late Major Mahama, Barbara Mahama, says although her husband has been gone for 3 years, its feels just like 3 days.

Then Captain Maxwell Adam Mahama was lynched by a mob at Denkyira Obuasi in the Central Region on 29th May, 2018, who say they suspected he was a thief.

Capt. Mahama, was a Commander of about 100 officers who were sent to the Denkyira Obuasi Township to assist the government in the fight against illegal mining.

He was stoned to death and burnt by the youth of the area who mistook him for an armed robber.

In memory of Major Mahama, the state erected a statue and named the airport hills roundabout after him.

Eulogising her husband to mark 3 years of his demise, Barbara Mahama posted on Instagram, ” it feels like you have been gone for 3 just days. Continue to rest well Maxwell. we miss you is an understatement. Jaden still remembers that you told him you were going to come back from that journey”.

Capt. Mahama left behind a wife, Barbara Mahama and two sons.
