24 bands qualify for Atinka TV’s “Kronkron” reality show after audition 

 

Twenty- four bands have finally been selected to participate in the main event of  Atinka TV’s latest reality show, “Kronkron” slated for November 26, 2018, at the Sika Hall, Atinka Media Village. 

The bands were selected after a rigorous three-week audition process involving 51 bands drawn across the country.

 The participating musical bands are judged on skill, adaptation, and cohesion and song structure.

Kronkron brings together bands to contest in a live worship competition. The show is designed to bring together the very best together to network, share ideas and worship God in a conducive environment.

The winner of the competition takes home GHC10, 000   and set of musical instruments.

First and second runners-up will also be going home with cash prizes of GH¢10,000 and GH¢5,000 respectively, while fourth to eighth-placed music groups will be given cash prizes of GH¢2,000 each.

Judges will have 40 percent of votes while the general public would have 60 percent.

The final 24 are; are Stephen Ampah, BCR, Fountain of Praise, Adihyiman, Adam Nana, Lovely Singers, FM Band, Young Praise, Chosen Vessel, Grace Rain Shining Stars, Voices of The Holy Spirit, Fire Melody Choir, Groove Masters, 4.G Crew, Bells of Christ, T.D.H.C. B2, Destiny Worship Crew, Pearls of Christ Incorporated, Joyful Singers, Heavenly Flames, We 2 Praise Band, Faith Voices and Unique Stars.

The MD of Atinka Media Village, Mr. Albert Kwabena Dwumfour, was optimistic that the main event was going to be massive adding, “This won’t be about just worship but there will be more.”

He revealed that on Wednesday, November 21, members of the public will be given shortcodes to vote for their favorite bands.

Mr.  Dwumfour thanked the production crew for ensuring a successful audition process and that the Executive Chairman of the Tobinco Group, Elder Samuel Amo Tobbin for supporting the project.

He thanked the Church of Pentecost, the Rev Thomas Clegg Methodist Church, the Calvary Baptist Church (Circle branch) and the Christian community for their support.
