A twelve-year old boy has tragically drowned in a dam at Lebanon River State in the Ashaiman Municipality.

The boy, name only given as Kojo per residents accounts was swimming with his four other colleagues when the unfortunate occurred at round 2:40pm Sunday .

This is the fourth person to drown in the Dam in the last few months, raising so many concerns among residents.

According to the residents, the children were swimming with pieces of polystyrene material (cork) when Kojo lost track of his piece.
