10 Tips on how to get rid of stretch marks on breasts

Stretch marks are nothing to be worried about, but they can make you feel self-conscious, so read these ten tips on how to get rid of stretch marks on breasts.

1. Egg whites

The best way to reduce the appearance of stretch marks is to make them fade and to nourish the skin. Egg whites are a rich source of protein and amino acids that will help the skin to repair itself and become suppler. Whip up the whites of two eggs and apply it to the area that had been affected by stretch marks. Leave the egg whites to dry and then wash off with water. Then, moisturise the area by massaging in some olive oil.

2. Lemon juice

Lemon juice is naturally acidic and it has a mild bleaching effect that will help to reduce the appearance of scars like stretch marks on the breasts. Apply fresh lemon juice on the stretch marks and rub it in gently. Leave it on for about ten minutes and then wash off again with warm water. Like all of these natural remedies for stretch marks, it will take time, so repeat regularly and you will see a gradual fading of the scars.

3. Aloe vera

Aloe vera is wonderful for the skin and it will help with stretch marks too. You can use aloe vera on its own by massaging it in and leaving it on for about fifteen minutes, or you could mix it with some vitamin E oil. The combination of the two will nourish the skin and promote the formation of new elastin and collagen.

4. Add more vegetables to your diet

One of the important vitamins for healthy skin is Vitamin K. To feed your skin from the inside and encourage the growth of new skin, eat more Vitamin K rich foods, such as cabbage, kale and spinach, and eat more salads too. A healthy, Vitamin K rich diet will go a long way towards helping your skin heal itself.

5. Sugar

Sugar is one of the best home exfoliates there is and exfoliation, combined with some of our other tips, will help to fade stretch marks on the chest. Try exfoliation with a mixture of sugar, lemon juice and almond oil. You can’t scrub stretch marks away, so don’t rub too hard, but it will help fade stretch marks over time.

6. Potato juice

Potato juice contains skin nourishing minerals and vitamins and it also has a natural bleaching effect that will help to fade stretch marks. All you need to do is to cut a potato into slices and then gently rub a slice over the affected area of skin. For the best effect, leave the juice to dry on your skin before you wash it off again with lukewarm water.

7. Olive oil

Olive oil is a rich source of nutrients and antioxidants and it can be used to treat all manner of different skin disorders. To help stretch marks heal, apply warm olive oil to the skin and massage it in. The massaging will improve the blood supply the area and the oil will nourish and hydrate the skin.

8. Cocoa butter

Cocoa butter is well-known for its skin care properties and it’s also said by many to be an effective treatment for stretch marks. Massage it onto the skin, twice a day, and you should start to see a gradual reduction your stretch marks. For an added boost to your skin health try mixing cocoa butter with some wheat germ oil to get an extra boost of Vitamin E.
